About the Position: Wells Fargo is looking for talented individuals to join the Strategy, Digital and Innovation (SDI) team for the upcoming summer internship program focused on the 2025 strategy. This program offers a unique opportunity to explore various career paths within the organization.
Program Overview:
The Corporate Strategy team collaborates across multiple business lines and enterprise functions to establish a strategic vision for Wells Fargo, along with prioritized initiatives aimed at delivering a comprehensive banking experience to a diverse clientele, including individuals, small to medium enterprises, large corporations, and institutions.
Internship Experience:
- Assisting in the execution of strategic initiatives and projects across Wells Fargo's diverse business sectors.
- Analyzing strategic options, crafting innovative solutions, and managing collaborative projects to address complex business challenges.
- Providing strategic consulting support to internal stakeholders, utilizing expertise in products, projects, industries, and business operations.
- Conducting thorough competitive and industry analysis, alongside financial assessments, to gauge Wells Fargo's market standing.
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to generate insights that guide strategic recommendations.
- Creating engaging presentations and business cases through effective storytelling techniques.
- Enhancing skill sets through structured learning opportunities and hands-on training.
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the organization, including the prioritization of strategic projects and investments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date in June 2026.
- Proven ability to take on significant responsibilities, demonstrate initiative, and maintain accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with financial products and services.
Internship Duration:
- 10 weeks during the summer.
Successful candidates may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time analyst role within the SDI's Strategy Rotational Program, allowing for continued learning and relationship building through rotations within various strategy teams.
