Job Overview

Position: Caregiver / Home Care Aide

Compensation: $19.00 per hour

Location: Grass Valley and nearby regions

Work Schedule: Weekdays and Weekends between 7 AM - 6 PM

As a Home Care Aide with Interim HealthCare, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our clients while offering peace of mind to their families. We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and professional caregivers to support our clients in their homes, with shifts ranging from 3 to 12 hours.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care that promotes each client's physical, mental, and social well-being.
  • Assist clients with mobility and ambulation, utilizing safe lifting techniques.
  • Understand and follow the client's care plan, contributing insights regarding their needs and preferences.
  • Attend to individual client needs, which may include assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
  • Provide medication reminders to clients for self-administered medications.
  • Ensure the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each client during service delivery, fostering a warm and caring environment.
  • Effectively communicate with clients' families and visitors.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: 6+ months of caregiving experience.
  • Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check.
  • Negative TB test required.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive drug screening.
  • Willingness to utilize a smartphone for clocking in/out and documenting care activities.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
