As a Home Care Aide with Interim HealthCare, you will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their families have peace of mind. We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and professional caregivers to assist our clients in their homes, with shifts varying from 3 to 12 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized care that promotes each client's physical, mental, and social well-being.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers using safe techniques and equipment.
- Understand and implement the client's care plan, contributing to the care planning process by sharing observations and insights.
- Attend to clients' personal needs, including grooming, bathing, hygiene, feeding, and other daily activities.
- Provide medication reminders to clients for self-administered medications.
- Ensure the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each client during service delivery, fostering a warm and caring environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients' families and visitors.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: 6+ months of caregiving experience.
- Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check.
- Ability to obtain a negative TB test.
- Successful completion of a comprehensive drug screening.
- Willingness to use a smartphone for clocking in/out and documenting care.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
