Job Title: Porter

The role of the Porter involves maintaining cleanliness and order within the GMP zone of the Factory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report any safety incidents and adhere to all Company and Plant Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Complete assigned Master Sanitation Schedule Tasks.
  • Comply with all GMP guidelines and report any Food Safety issues.
  • Follow Safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE.
  • Maintain and restock handwashing stations.
  • Clean floors and walls in common areas.
  • Dispose of trash in common areas.
  • Restock and maintain water stations.
  • Refill and distribute cleaning chemicals.
  • Receive bulk chemical deliveries.
  • Replace cleaning tools as necessary.
  • Perform duties in accordance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to stand and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Capable of lifting, kneeling, bending, squatting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Commitment to safety practices.
  • Willingness to learn Forklift operation.
  • Willingness to learn Floor Scrubber operation.

SKILLS:

  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and listening skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and neatness.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
