Position Overview:

The Aviation Procurement Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quotes for part sales within 24 hours, ideally on the same day.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing unit to apply freight charges on shipments.
  • Verify shipments of all packages to ensure accurate delivery to customers.
  • Process quotes for surplus inventory.
  • Engage with customers through various communication methods to facilitate the movement of excess inventory.
  • Accurately code equipment parts and unit movements on weigh bills.
  • Maintain precise records of all freight movements for potential re-importing of equipment.
  • Procure necessary import documentation for equipment.
  • Provide insights on product costs, vendor performance, and demographics.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a buyer.
