Job Description Summary

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot imaging equipment issues to ensure proper functionality and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on designated equipment to prevent downtime and optimize performance.
  • Conduct safety and environmental inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Document service and repair activities in accordance with hospital protocol and GE policies.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Mentor with and assist more experienced technicians on progressive repairs and resolution.
  • Complete quality and compliance training to ensure adherence to industry standards.
Requirements
  • AS, BS, MS degree, military education, or certificate program in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in servicing electronic, IT, or mechanical equipment, or relevant coursework.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience interpreting schematic diagrams and performing effective repair and maintenance on basic biomedical or electronic equipment.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to effectively communicate technical issues to customers.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good customer relations.
  • Experience interfacing with internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
