Responsibilities- Evaluate and troubleshoot imaging equipment issues to ensure proper functionality and customer satisfaction.
- Perform preventative maintenance on designated equipment to prevent downtime and optimize performance.
- Conduct safety and environmental inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Document service and repair activities in accordance with hospital protocol and GE policies.
- Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues and ensure timely follow-up.
- Mentor with and assist more experienced technicians on progressive repairs and resolution.
- Complete quality and compliance training to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- AS, BS, MS degree, military education, or certificate program in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in servicing electronic, IT, or mechanical equipment, or relevant coursework.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Previous experience interpreting schematic diagrams and performing effective repair and maintenance on basic biomedical or electronic equipment.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to effectively communicate technical issues to customers.
- Ability to develop and maintain good customer relations.
- Experience interfacing with internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
