Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at eHospitalHire. In this role, you will perform technical imaging examinations and complex procedures utilizing various imaging equipment and systems.
As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will work independently with patients of all ages and in different locations. Your responsibilities will include maintenance and repairs, participating in quality assurance, and resolving issues related to image processing and archiving.
You will work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and triage routine and emergent procedures. Additionally, you may participate in the instruction of other healthcare professionals and contribute to clinical research.
Requirements for this position include a graduate degree from a School of Radiologic Technology, certification by the appropriate body, and CPR certification. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and two years of clinical experience are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform technical imaging examinations and complex procedures
- Maintenance and repairs of imaging equipment
- Participate in quality assurance and resolve image processing issues
- Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize schedules and triage procedures
- Participate in the instruction of other healthcare professionals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Two years of clinical experience
- MRI, CT, or X-ray certification
