About the Position

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine is seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Nephrology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, teaching, and research opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic and treatment services to children with conditions affecting the kidney or urinary tract, bladder problems, or high blood pressure.
  • Coordinate the efforts of related professionals to ensure continuous availability of services.
  • Monitor and enhance the quality of nephrology services delivered at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
  • Develop and implement educational programs and activities for medical students and residents in pediatric nephrology.
  • Maintain a spirit of inquiry and scholarship in the activities of the Nephrology Service.
  • Perform administrative duties and university service as assigned.
Requirements
  • MD degree or foreign equivalent.
  • Eligible for Illinois Physician License.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology.
