This position is responsible for managing STD investigational data, including congenital syphilis, database maintenance, report tracking, data entry, interstate coordination, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate interstate communications for HIV and STD case reporting and investigation.
- Conduct out-of-state record searches for HIV and STD cases, including congenital syphilis.
- Assist congenital syphilis epidemiologists with data remediation, deduplication, and approvals.
- Provide technical assistance to regional and local ICCR sites for data accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with contractors for data entry and report tracking.
- Experience with data management, analysis, and interpretation.
- Knowledge of infectious diseases, specifically HIV and STDs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
This position is eligible for telework, but requires two days per week in-office in Austin, TX.
