Position Overview
The Program Operations Coordinator is a pivotal role within the Feerick Center for Social Justice, responsible for operational, administrative, and programmatic support. This position requires a proactive individual who demonstrates discretion, sound judgment, and excels in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Strong oral and written communication skills, along with exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail, are essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Report directly to the Executive Director of the Feerick Center for Social Justice, providing comprehensive operational and administrative support.
2. Serve as the primary staff member assisting with the Center's initiatives, including oversight of VISTAs and part-time personnel.
3. Manage communications for the Center, including newsletters, reports, and web content; oversee social media platforms and maintain the website.
4. Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing Center programs and events, ensuring logistical and administrative support.
5. Provide administrative support for meetings, including minute-taking and coordination of schedules.
6. Oversee budget management, office purchasing, and invoice processing.
7. Support grants management and financial record-keeping, including planning for fundraising events.
8. Act as a primary contact for internal and external communications, tracking requests and responses systematically.
9. Offer daily administrative assistance to the Feerick Center staff, including scheduling and travel arrangements.
10. Supervise student workers, interns, and volunteers as needed.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (four years of work experience).
2. Minimum of two years of experience in office management and organization, with proficiency in CANVA and Terminal Four.
3. Strong administrative, bookkeeping, budgeting, and event planning skills are advantageous.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite, and data management systems; familiarity with contact management systems is preferred.
5. Excellent communication, editing, proofreading, and customer relations skills.
6. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a positive environment.
7. Self-motivated with strong initiative and superior judgment.
8. Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Conversational Spanish is a plus.
Salary
Starting salary ranges from $62,400 to $65,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
