Human Resources Internship Opportunity

DiscoverU Health is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support the growth and retention of our talented clinical and administrative team. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a vital role in advocating for the best interests of our organization and team members while providing exceptional customer service to all.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing the recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, for various healthcare and administrative roles.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent from both active and passive candidate pools.
  • Foster community partnerships to build talent pipelines.
  • Create standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software.
  • Organize recruitment events at colleges, universities, and industry conferences.
  • Support client and care coordination as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the CEO to provide updates on HR initiatives and receive guidance.
Qualifications:
  • HR experience is required, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Currently enrolled in or have completed a master's program in Human Resources preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, CRM, and EHR systems.
Additional Requirements:
  • Remote role for six months.
  • Commitment of 20 hours per week.
  • Eligible for college credit.
