Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our CEE Team to understand client vision, goals, and budget.
  • Develop innovative event concepts and themes.
  • Create detailed mood boards, sketches, and digital renderings to present design ideas.
  • Conduct audience research to understand preferences and tailor event experiences.
  • Select and coordinate design elements, including color schemes, lighting, décor, fabrics, textiles, floral arrangements, furniture, and signage.
  • Oversee production and installation of design elements, ensuring they meet desired aesthetic and functional requirements.
  • Work closely with vendors to source and secure materials.
  • Coordinate with CEE Team to ensure seamless integration of design and logistical elements.
  • Supervise setup and teardown of event decor, ensuring all elements are installed and dismantled efficiently and professionally.
  • Serve as primary contact for all design-related materials.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to ensure quality and budget adherence.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction throughout design process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging design techniques, and new materials.
  • Introduce fresh and creative ideas to enhance client experience.
  • Incorporate sustainable practices into event planning and execution to minimize environmental impact.
  • Ensure events are accessible and inclusive, reflecting diversity of audience and community.
  • Comply with legal, insurance, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven understanding and experience in event design or similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Strong organizational skills, including multitasking, time management, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing range of design work, including both large-scale and intimate events.
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, Canva, Prismm, SketchUp, Blender, or other relevant tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong project management abilities with keen eye for detail.
  • Polished and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to travel both domestic and internationally, as needed.
