Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee the College's Sponsor Contracts, student accounts, and cash collections, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Assist students in determining their individual financial needs, providing information and guidance on financial aid options and payment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and third-party entities, both verbally and in writing, to resolve financial issues and provide support.
  • Process and reconcile financial transactions, including tuition payments, invoices, and departmental deposits, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to FERPA guidelines when handling sensitive student information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution and two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet and database applications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
