Piper Companies is currently seeking a skilled Acquisitions Specialist to provide exceptional support to defense and civilian government agencies across the United States.

Key Responsibilities for the Acquisitions Specialist include:

  • Managing contracts by drafting, reviewing, and finalizing agreements.
  • Overseeing Request for Proposals (RFPs) processes.
  • Coordinating the evaluation of received proposals.
  • Generating and managing purchase orders for the procurement of goods and services.
  • Developing and maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Drafting price memorandums for Other Transactions (OTs) under the UNO program.

Required Qualifications for the Acquisitions Specialist include:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a contracts administrator in a DOD environment.
  • Preferably with an Army background.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contracts, or Pre-Law from an accredited institution.

Compensation for the Acquisitions Specialist includes:

  • Salary: $120,000-$130,000
