Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and prioritize non-emergency work requests, develop scope of work, and inspect job locations to determine job requirements.
- Estimate labor hours, skills, parts, materials, equipment, and special tools required to complete proactive jobs in a safe and efficient manner.
- Gather relevant technical documentation, such as drawings, schematics, specifications, and spare parts lists from equipment histories and OEM manuals.
- Verify part availability prior to scheduling work orders and arrange for special tools and auxiliary equipment when required.
- Maintain a planned and organized ready work order backlog at or above 4 weeks of crew available capacity.
- Conduct weekly scheduling meetings with production personnel to determine work order priorities, communicate work order status, and alter planned maintenance activities if necessary.
- Create a weekly technician schedule that includes priority planned jobs utilizing 100% of available technician labor hours for the upcoming week.
- Employ the cycle of continuous improvement process to create/update reusable Job Plans with technician feedback.
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity of equipment data (Bill of Materials) in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Train site employees on Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and ensure its utilization.
- Follow all safety regulations and promote positive safety behaviors.
- Perform work area and production area housekeeping.
- Associate degree in a technical field with 1 year of maintenance scheduling/planning experience and/or 3 years as a machine repair technician, or equivalent combination of both.
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Familiarity with industrial manufacturing environments.
- Electrical/mechanical aptitude.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal communication and cross-functional skills.
- Ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management and planning skills.
- Excellent analytical and reasoning skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
