Labor Relations Manager Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Labor Relations Manager to join our team at Blackstone Consulting, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing labor relations between the company and its unionized employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate Collective Bargaining Agreements: Develop and maintain positive relationships with union representatives while ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Manage Labor Relations Programs: Plan, direct, and coordinate labor relations programs and policies.
  • Advise Management: Provide guidance on labor laws and collective bargaining issues.
  • Develop Labor Relations Policies: Create and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Investigate and Resolve Labor Disputes: Analyze and resolve labor disputes in a fair and timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in labor relations or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of labor laws and regulations, and experience in contract negotiations and administration.
