Labor Relations Manager Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Labor Relations Manager to join our team at Blackstone Consulting, Inc. in Southern California. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing labor relations between the company and its unionized employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement labor relations policies and procedures to promote positive employee relations.
  • Negotiate collective bargaining agreements with labor unions and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Provide advice and guidance to management on labor laws and collective bargaining issues.
  • Investigate and resolve labor disputes and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with union representatives and employees.
  • Monitor labor relations regulations and legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Represent management in labor negotiations and mediations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in labor relations or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Valid government-issued driver's license or state-issued ID.
