About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and administrative tasks
  • Perform vital signs, clinical care quality measures, and medical history information
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure proper identification
  • Remain proficient and knowledgeable regarding the use and documentation requirements within information technology systems
  • Order clinical supplies to maintain inventory and facilitate smooth operations
Requirements
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association preferred
