Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments
  • Manage patient flow and coordinate diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and vital signs
  • Act as a liaison between physicians and patients to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain and order supplies for the medical area as needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Current certifications/registrations required
  • BLS required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
Conditions of Employment

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson Health for employees working at our clinical entities or at the University.

If you are not currently vaccinated, you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.

Since this position will require regular contact with children, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI fingerprint-based federal criminal records check.
