Senior Mental Health Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Senior Mental Health Counselor, you will provide direct client care services, including treatment planning, individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. You will also assist leadership in the development and maintenance of standards of practice, quality services, and new programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct client care services, including treatment planning, individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy.
- Assist leadership in the development and maintenance of standards of practice, quality services, and new programs.
- Plan and provide client, family, peer, and community education and coordinate services with other healthcare professionals.
- Follow an individualized performance development plan to maintain current knowledge and be competent in specialty areas, support program goals.
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or other related health field.
- Alaska Masters Social Worker License, Alaska Clinical Social Worker License, Alaska Professional Counselor License, Alaska Marriage and Family Therapist License, or Alaska Psychologist License.
- 5 years of clinical experience.
