Job Overview

P.B. Bell Property Management Company is seeking a Full-time Facilities Maintenance Manager for an apartment community. This role is crucial in ensuring that the property adheres to all safety and aesthetic standards. The Facilities Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance of apartments, buildings, equipment, and amenities, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

This position involves preparing vacant apartments for new residents and addressing resident service requests promptly while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, and manage the maintenance team to meet property goals.
  • Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively to meet required standards.
  • Manage on-call emergency maintenance requests during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to property maintenance and repairs.

Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge in maintenance areas including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general repairs.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in apartment maintenance.
  • Previous supervisory experience is essential.
  • Ability to respond to service calls, including after hours and weekends.
  • Possession of a complete set of tools is required.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
