Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the aesthetic maintenance of our public grounds and buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and work with Groundskeepers/Maintenance workers to ensure the maintenance of our facilities.
  • Plan work schedules and sequence of operations for crew members.
  • Review work in progress and make adjustments as needed.
  • Develop and maintain yearly budgets for maintenance projects.
  • Manage all aspects of project management, including grant/contract reporting, budget tracking, and purchase requisitions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Knowledge of all phases of groundskeeping and maintenance work.
  • Ability to work with heavy equipment and operate desktop workstations, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to complete purchase orders and department paperwork.
What We Offer

We offer a full-time, benefited position with a competitive salary range of $45,134 - $60,029 annually, depending on experience. The Tribe follows Indian Employment Preference Procedure, which considers qualified applicants in the following order: enrolled YPIT Tribal Members, applicants who are enrolled members of other Indian Tribes, and all other qualified applicants.
