Key Responsibilities:- Business Analysis and Project/Product Support: Provide Business Analysis and Project/Product support for the development, enhancement, quality assessment, and on-going support of the relevant lines of business (LOBs).
- Influencing Requirements: Utilize industry trends to influence requirements for new application features and enhancements that are consistent with strategic priorities.
- Requirements Documentation: Identify the business needs of the users, outline potential solutions, and translate business requirements to an appropriate format for requirements including user stories/acceptance criteria, process flows, data mapping (source to target mappings), functional and non-functional requirements to convey with appropriate level of detail to the development team.
- Collaboration and Liaison: Collaborates with users, vendor, and development team members to deliver the best technical solution which meets the business requirements.
- Design Process: Significantly contributes to the design process to ensure it supports business requirements and an optimized user experience.
- Complex System Requirements: Capture requirements for a highly complex system and/or multiple systems across multiple stakeholders; understands and applies the SDLC to the execution of deliverables.
- Technical Requirements: Translate business requirements into technical requirements considering multiple users, risks, and/or impact scenarios and convey with appropriate level of detail to the development team.
- Business Objectives: Apply expertise of the business and its trajectory and work with technical and business teams to support business objectives and align to the roadmap.
- Project Testing Strategy: Work with QAS to develop project testing strategy.
- User Acceptance Testing: Support and/or participate in user acceptance testing to ensure quality in application releases and user experience.
- Security and Risk Management: Advises on security, risk management, and IT process principles and escalate to appropriate team(s) as needed.
- Agile Squad Ceremonies: Active participation in Agile squad ceremonies, utilize Agile principles, and tools (Confluence, JIRA).
- BA Center of Excellence: Actively contributes and leads BA Center of Excellence efforts in evolving requirements analysis and management practices.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience working as a Business System Analyst or related IT roles.
- Operations Experience: Min 3 years of Operations experience as Teller using Argo Teller21 platform, OLDs or equivalent exposure to retail branch Teller operations and systems.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Alogent Front Counter or other check processing and GL reconciliation processes for Retail Branches.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical skills, ability to work in a group/team setting, ability to work independently with minimal direction, takes accountability/responsibility for tasks and actions, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong collaboration skills and team player with positive attitude.
- Agile Methodology: Familiar with Agile, Scaled Agile Framework and Waterfall concepts, experience working in agile squads, MS Suite proficiency Word, Excel, PPT, experience using JIRA and Confluence.
- Business Analysis Deliverables: Business Analysis deliverable in the form of use cases, process flows, data mapping documentation.
- Complex Concepts: Ability to break down complex concepts into simple and digestible requirements.
- Design Thinking: Execute Design thinking, Systems thinking when developing requirements artifacts.
- Quality and Attention to Detail: Must be driven to deliver quality and have attention to detail.
- Technical Implementation: Familiarity with mainframe, batch and real time (REST, Kafka or other).
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferably in IT / Computer Science.
- Experience: Experience in Retail Branch and Teller Operations.
- Certifications: Certifications (CBAP, agile certifications).
