Job Opportunity: Tax Analyst

Management Business Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Tax Analyst to join our team in Cleveland, OH. As a key member of our tax department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our tax returns and provision calculations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze general ledger information and operational data for federal and state tax processing.
  • Prepare and file federal and state tax returns, ensuring timely submission and compliance.
  • Develop and manage tax provision calculations, including current and deferred tax liabilities, for monthly and year-end processes.
  • Forecast and calculate federal and state income tax estimated payments, maintaining and reconciling tax general ledger accounts.
  • Support senior team members with state tax issues, including researching, documenting, and responding to state notices and audits.
  • Conduct tax research and planning, making value-added recommendations to optimize tax positions and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in tax compliance and accounting.
  • Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
