About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions. As a Psychiatrist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality mental health care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric services to patients, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure uniformity of mental health services and documentation of psychiatric services.
  • Provide supervision and oversight to psychiatric nurses and consultation/training services to mental health and medical staff.
  • Participate in involuntary medication of high-risk patients and provide documentation of psychiatric services contacts as requested.
  • Exercise independent medical judgment in diagnosis and treatment of patients while adhering to approved medication formulary and notifying appropriate staff of clinical or administrative concerns.
Requirements
  • Doctorate in psychiatry.
  • Training and experience providing psychiatric services to an adult population.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Physician who is licensed to practice medicine in the state of employment, Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry, CPR Certified.
