About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Manager at Wintrust Financial, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Prepare and validate monthly reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assign and assist with review and verification of loan system data for new business and renewals
  • Review loan maintenance entered by loan analysts and officers to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Gather data and deliver statistics for the quality control process
  • Verify maintenance affecting loans processed by individuals outside of Loan Operations
  • Document, communicate, and follow up on loan corrections needed as a result of the quality control process
  • Provide reporting on QC items
  • Manage QC team workload and assign tasks as necessary
  • Establish procedures and train QC team members
  • Assist the department as directed and participate in special projects
Requirements
  • Strong experience in project management and SOX business controls
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control in a banking environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient with Excel and Word
