Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities and English language learners
  • Help with lesson planning, implementation, and assessment
  • Provide individualized support to students, as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of college or 48 units of college credit
  • A.A. degree or higher
  • Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction
