Our law firm is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to oversee the financial operations of our organization.

Compensation Details

The salary for this role is $90,000 annually, with opportunities for advancement based on performance.

Job Description
  • Manage all financial aspects of the business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts to guide business decision-making.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and identifying areas for cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operation and minimize risk.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, promoting efficiency, effectiveness, and collaboration.
  • Implement and maintain accounting software and financial systems, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a strong background in financial management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Exceptional knowledge of financial regulations, including trust account management and GAAP, with a proven ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Elite, or Aderant) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with partners, attorneys, and staff.
  • Able to pass a background check and possess a valid driver's license.
