About the Program:

This initiative is designed to alleviate traffic congestion and enhance air quality by promoting sustainable transportation options among residents.

As an Outreach and Engagement Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and sustain partnerships within a designated area.

You will aid these partners in crafting and executing programs that encourage sustainable transportation practices.

This position requires working in a dynamic team setting, adhering to performance metrics.


Key Responsibilities:


- Execute a variety of transportation demand management, marketing, outreach, and sales strategies to motivate individuals to adopt alternative transportation methods, such as carpooling, public transit, and biking.

- Conduct market analysis, develop outreach strategies, foster relationships, and pinpoint new partnership opportunities.


- Design, promote, and implement various programs aimed at improving air quality and reducing traffic congestion.

- Monitor and evaluate the growth of Travel Demand Management (TDM) services and employer initiatives on a regular basis.

- Analyze data from various tracking systems and databases.

- Provide TDM guidance to employers and community organizations.

- Assist in compiling reports on program progress, including summarizing ongoing activities.

- Participate in statewide events that advance the program's objectives.

- Offer telework solutions to employer partners and stakeholders.


- Conduct consultations and needs assessments for various organizations and agencies.


- Oversee and coordinate sustainable transportation initiatives, including delivering training sessions for employer partners.

- Maintain accurate records of all outreach and sales activities using designated project management tools.

- Assess the effectiveness of commute alternative programs in your region, utilizing established metrics.


- Demonstrate a solid understanding of various TDM strategies to encourage a shift away from single-occupancy vehicle use.


- Expand the client base through outreach efforts, networking, and re-engaging existing partners.
