Job Title: Production/Completions Engineer

Kinder Morgan is seeking a Production/Completions Engineer to support our CO2 development team focused on assets in the Permian Basin. The position is based in Houston, TX, with a flexible hybrid work schedule.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing well completions for new and existing producers and injectors, developing wellwork programs for CO2 flood expansion projects, and maintaining updated project cost estimates.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing well completions for new and existing producers and injectors
  • Developing wellwork programs for CO2 flood expansion projects
  • Maintaining updated project cost estimates
  • Providing technical leadership in EOR project design and evaluation
  • Contributing to the evaluation of mature fields for additional EOR potential

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • 5+ years of experience in petroleum engineering or related fields
  • Experience with CO2 flooding or water flooding, EOR technologies, oil production diagnostics, design and optimization
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
