About the Role
Chesterfield Imaging is seeking a skilled MRI Technician to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality MRI images of patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Screen patients for contraindications and ensure proper use of protective equipment.
- Perform computer operations, including Meditech and PACS, to ensure accurate and timely image processing.
- Provide exceptional patient care, rendering services in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare examination rooms, maintain inventory, and ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with PACS administration and maintenance, including image verification and cleanup.
- Stay up-to-date with continuing education requirements and maintain licensure and certification.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certification within six months of hire.
