We are seeking a skilled MRI Technician to join our team, working closely with our experienced radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented MRI Technician to join our team. As an MRI Technician, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality MRI images of patients, following established scanning protocols, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain high-quality MRI images of patients, following established scanning protocols and adjusting protocols as required
  • Comply with MRI safety guidelines, utilizing protective equipment when necessary, and operating the MRI scanner safely and competently
  • Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications, such as cardiac pacemakers, metal fragments, and jewelry
  • Perform all necessary computer operations, including Meditech and PACS, and ensure proper charges are entered and referring physicians' orders are verified
  • Rendere patient care in a professional and courteous manner, preparing examination rooms for MRI procedures, and maintaining room cleanliness and neat appearance
  • Assist with PACS clean up, completing and maintaining educational requirements, and maintaining strict confidentiality regarding employees and patient information
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Responsible for continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certification within six months of hire
