Job Title: Registered Nurse

The Holy Cross Medical Center seeks a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation under the supervision of the ICU Manager and the House Shift Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Current State of New Mexico licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
  • BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
  • NRP and CCRN certifications preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in an ICU setting preferred.
  • Basic working knowledge of arrhythmias and code blue experience required.
