As a Senior Appointment Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our day center by coordinating diagnostic and subspecialty appointments for our participants.
Responsibilities:- Utilize automated systems to efficiently schedule appointments.
- Provide comprehensive details to clinic staff regarding scheduled appointments.
- Collaborate with clinics to obtain necessary prior authorizations.
- Prioritize appointment scheduling based on urgency and participant needs.
- Maintain accurate scheduling systems and participant records.
- Coordinate transportation arrangements and escorts for appointments.
- Prepare reports and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in medical clinic administration or scheduling.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
