Key Responsibilities:
- MODAPS Utilization: Leverage MODAPS (Methods-Time Measurement) to assess and refine manufacturing workflows, ensuring optimal utilization of labor, materials, and machinery.
- Process Enhancement: Recognize and implement strategies for process enhancements aimed at minimizing waste, boosting productivity, and improving quality throughout the production line.
- Time and Motion Analysis: Execute time and motion analyses to establish standard operating procedures, enhance process flows, and optimize workstations.
- Data Evaluation: Scrutinize production metrics to track performance, identify patterns, and enact necessary corrective measures.
- Capacity Management: Formulate and uphold capacity plans that align with production timelines and the long-term objectives of the organization.
- Facility Layout Optimization: Design and refine plant layouts to improve workflow, decrease lead times, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Cost Efficiency: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to pinpoint cost-saving opportunities and execute cost-reduction strategies.
- Lean Principles Application: Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to eradicate waste and enhance processes, promoting a culture of ongoing improvement.
- Project Leadership: Spearhead and engage in initiatives focused on process optimization, equipment installation, and the introduction of new products.
- Training and Support: Deliver training and assistance to production teams on MODAPS and various process improvement methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering capacity, ideally within the automotive manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in MODAPS (Methods-Time Measurement) is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with an emphasis on process enhancement.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Competence in utilizing industrial engineering tools and software.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a high-paced manufacturing context.
