Job Title: Community Services Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Services Planning Specialist to join our team at the City of Puyallup, WA. As a Community Services Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing community service programs, working closely with local stakeholders, and ensuring the effective delivery of services to vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement community service programs, including planning, coordination, and evaluation.
  • Work closely with local stakeholders, including community groups, service providers, and government agencies, to ensure effective collaboration and coordination.
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to inform program development and implementation.
  • Develop and manage budgets, grants, and contracts related to community service programs.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to community groups and service providers on community service programs and best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, social work, or a related field.
  • Three years of professional experience in community service planning, program development, and implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
