The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in areas such as workers' compensation, personal injury, or family law and is seeking a new direction in their career.

This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities and provides exposure to various legal matters concerning consumer protection, including both transactional and civil litigation.

As a key member of the team, you will oversee litigation cases and address legal disputes on behalf of clients by formulating agreements, negotiating contracts, filing claims, and representing clients in court.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing a substantial and varied caseload for clients in Illinois
  • Engaging with clients to discuss their legal matters
  • Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and memoranda, as well as reviewing and preparing agreements
  • Interacting with opposing parties to negotiate and settle claims
  • Conducting legal research on both straightforward and complex issues in contract law and other consumer law areas

Required Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current license to practice law in Illinois (additional multi-state admission is a plus)
  • At least one year of relevant experience in a law firm setting
