Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of automation systems within Walmart's facilities. The Automation Maintenance Manager will lead a team of technicians in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of technicians in the maintenance and repair of automation systems
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal system performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address system issues
  • Provide training and guidance to technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Monitor and report on system performance and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
  • 2 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or related area
  • Experience leading technical staff in the repair of automation or robotics systems
  • Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in one of the following trades: automation, robotics, mechatronics, microelectronics, or related trade
  • Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program
  • License in related trade in city and/or state where job is located
  • 1 year's experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software
