Lifeguard PT

Washington City is seeking a skilled Lifeguard PT to ensure pool patron safety at our facility. The ideal candidate will possess current Red Cross lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Perform lifeguarding duties, including scanning assigned areas of water and responding to emergency situations.
• Enforce pool rules and safety guidelines, maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons.
• Assist in first aid and provide basic life support as needed.
• Maintain the pool area, restrooms, and locker rooms to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Collaborate with Aquatics Manager, Pool Supervisor, and Head Guards to ensure effective pool operations.

• Current Red Cross lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond calmly in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The incumbent will work in a typical pool setting with appropriate climate controls and typical settings associated with indoor/outdoor recreation. Tasks require a variety of physical activities, including communicating, i.e., talking, hearing, and seeing, which is essential to job effectiveness.
