Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager/Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting
    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, cash forecasting, monthly accruals, and bank reconciliation.
  • Accounting Support
    • Calculate journal entries with data from system-generated reports or other sources for a variety of general ledger accounts.
  • Reconciliation
    • Maintain reconciliations for a variety of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Tax Preparation
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax returns.
  • Financial Policies and Procedures
    • Create and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations.
  • Asset Protection
    • Monitor and protect the organization's assets and financial condition.
  • Collaboration
    • Collaborate with payroll, HR, AR, AP, Job Costing, banking, and general ledger departments on a daily basis.
  • Internal Audits
    • Participate in internal audits from the parent company.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance.
    • CPA or CPA candidate a plus.
    • Viewpoint Vista Trimble Software a plus.
    • Five to ten years of professional experience a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Advanced Excel experience.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, numerical, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with other departments within the organization.
    • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
    • Ensure departmental deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
