About the Role

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing targeted support services to families and children in need.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Care Coordination: Provide care coordination services to clients assigned to our program, including guiding the team process, identifying and including the clients support network, and assisting clients in accessing resources that meet their needs.
  2. Family Support: Increase the natural supports in the youth/familys life by preparing for and running Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings, developing a meeting agenda, scheduling meetings at a convenient time and location, and preparing visual aids or tools to facilitate the meeting process.
  3. Service Implementation: Support the implementation of Cross-System Care Plans (CSCPs) and update and modify them as needed.
  4. Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate services provided to families, contact families as needed to monitor progress and inquire about new needs, and manage caseload in accordance with agency guidelines.
  5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain client records and all other required documentation related to the CSCPs and objectives/interventions assigned to the Clinical Specialist in a timely manner, in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Participate in required staff meetings, including regular supervision and weekly clinical staff meetings, and collaborate with community resources on behalf of clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration within 60 days of hire.
  • Completion of a state-supported WISe training module or its equivalent within 30 days of hire.
  • Completion and ability to administer the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) Training within 30 days of hire.
  • Two years of experience working with psychiatrically impaired populations (preferred).
