Job Summary

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services to our residents in a life plan community. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized plans of care, communicating effectively with residents and staff, and documenting treatments according to our protocols and Medicare guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech therapy services to residents to overcome specific losses of function due to disease and injury
  • Effectively communicate with residents and staff to clarify plans of care, relay progress, and report any adverse effects of treatment
  • Document treatments according to our protocols and Medicare guidelines
  • Coordinate resident care with nursing staff, physical and speech therapists
Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in speech/language pathology
  • Valid and current state Speech Language Pathology license
  • CPR certification (adult only)
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, and other items up to 25 lbs. throughout the workday
