Director of Information Services and Acquisition Support

The Director of Information Services and Acquisition Support will lead the development and implementation of strategies to support the transition of entities into CHRISTUS Health. This role will oversee the management of processes and tools used to track and monitor transitions throughout the entire lifecycle, from pre-transition to post-transition.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team responsible for supporting the service that enables entity transitions.
- Oversee and manage the process and tools used to track and monitor transitions.
- Collaborate with CHRISTUS stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful transitions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the service and processes supporting entity transitions.
- Monitor and report operational updates to the System Director to inform resource allocation and prioritization.
- Provide oversight for the analysis and evaluation of current systems and procedures, as well as the development of system design and workflow modifications.
- Manage a full workload across multiple projects while leading a team.
- Engage with CHRISTUS business units to support the development and accomplishment of CHRISTUS strategies and objectives.
- Communicate with senior leadership and management to establish clear expectations and drive technology improvements.
- Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and develop direct reports to deliver high-quality services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Education and experience in relevant ITIL support and delivery processes, with ITIL certification preferred.
- Financial skills related to budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of major healthcare information systems.
- 5+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with 3+ years of experience in implementation and optimization in a complex, multi-site environment.
- Experience with Epic and associated products strongly preferred.
- Ability to work on multiple and complex projects, with a positive communication style, strong critical thinking skills, and a creative and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Adaptable and flexible style, with excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Excellent resource management skills, including resource projection and budgeting.
- Ability to work in a collaborative way across a diverse, geographically, and culturally, organization.
