About the Role

As a Consumer Loan Sales Specialist at OneMain Financial, you will play a vital part in empowering customers by listening to their needs and providing them with friendly, fast, and affordable financing solutions for life's expenses.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Sales Performance: Deliver results related to individual and branch sales goals as well as customer expectations.
  • Credit Solutions: Present financial solutions based on customer needs that meet their goals.
  • Insurance Products: Offer optional insurance products to customers.
  • Loan Lifecycle Management: Educate customers on the terms and conditions of their loan to ensure a clear understanding.
  • Business Development: Partner with local businesses to seek out and develop new customers.
  • Credit Underwriting Techniques: Learn how to utilize credit underwriting techniques and sales tools.
  • Customer Service: Manage the life cycle of the loan, including collections activities, complying with all laws and regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (HS Diploma/GED).

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

Sales, Collections, or Customer Service experience.Bilingual skills – Spanish is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive base salary range of $21.00-$24.50 per hour, which may vary based on factors such as skills and work experience. In addition to your hourly wage, this role is eligible for a comprehensive additional compensation program that rewards individual and company performance.
