The Parts Counterperson is responsible for coordinating the procurement and delivery of vehicle parts, as well as administering internal procedures and reports. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with various departments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Part Procurement: Coordinate with the parts manager, wholesale representative, and inventory control administrator to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts.
- Part Delivery: Deliver parts to the body shop and distribute them to technicians, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and accurate.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of daily deliveries and pick-ups, and collect signatures on each delivery entry.
- Customer Service: Assist the service department with attendant responsibilities, including managing the drop-off and pick-up of customers' vehicles.
- Stocking and Posting: Assist with stocking and posting orders when they arrive, expediting delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience as a Parts Counterperson.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service and phone communication capabilities.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license.
