Job Description:

  • Perform a variety of duties related to reception of patients/visitors, communication with the unit and medical staff, and other departments.
  • General clerical and medical record responsibilities required.

Responsibilities:

  • Scanning in resident documents.
  • Updating resident discharge information.
  • Assisting the Director of Nursing (DON) with projects as needed.
  • Answering phones.
  • Picking up and distributing mail from the Unit.
  • Collecting documents for scanning.

Requirements:

  • Medical terminology and basic data entry skills preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
