Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Neurodiagnostic Manager to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando. As a key member of our Neurosciences department, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our neurodiagnostic services across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management
    • Manage daily operations to ensure effective and efficient provision of quality diagnostic procedures following established protocols.
    • Recruit, interview, and hire qualified staff, and oversee their training and orientation to ensure competency requirements are met.
    • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to existing employees to maintain their skills and knowledge.
    • Monitor and manage departmental budgets, key performance indicators, and quality metrics to ensure optimal performance.
  • Leadership and Communication
    • Lead and manage a team of neurodiagnostic professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
    • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Quality and Patient Safety
    • Ensure that all diagnostic procedures are performed in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
    • Monitor and report on quality metrics and patient safety incidents to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and engagement.
  • Resource Management
    • Manage equipment, supplies, and other resources to ensure optimal performance and minimize waste.
    • Develop and manage departmental budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility.
    • Monitor and report on departmental performance metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Five years of experience in EEG technical services.
    • Three years of leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    • R.EEG.T certification from American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic & Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET).
