Our clinics are staffed by paramedics who work as the hands of the physician during appointments, performing in-clinic tests and procedures. We use connected devices to perform physical exams with a virtual physician, and our medics are trained and trusted to run their own location.

Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled paramedic to join our team as a primary care clinic medic. As a medic, you'll serve as the all-in-one micro clinic operator, greeting patients, working with a virtual physician, and performing in-clinic tests and procedures. You'll use connected devices to perform physical exams, and you'll be responsible for accurate charting and documentation of exams, procedures, and lab orders.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the all-in-one micro clinic operator, greeting patients and working with a virtual physician
  • Use connected devices to perform physical exams with a virtual physician
  • Perform in-clinic tests and procedures, including blood draws, processing urine samples, injections, and ear flushes
  • Accurate charting and documentation of exams, procedures, and lab orders
  • Troubleshoot devices or audio/video issues that might occur
  • Daily opening and closing of the clinic
Requirements
  • Paramedic current state licensure, with NREMT preferred
  • Comfortable working independently with a variety of remote specialty physicians
  • Good with technology, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new devices and systems
  • Previous experience in clinics, primary care, urgent care, ED, ICU, or step-down I/P units is beneficial but not required
  • Excellent people skills, with a passion for taking care of people and making them feel comfortable, safe, and heard
