This is a critical role within the Waste Pro team, responsible for supporting the maintenance team in ensuring the optimal performance of our fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling preventive maintenance, ordering parts, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance for Waste Pro vehicles
- Order parts and materials required for maintenance services
- File repair orders, safety lane forms, and DVIRs (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports)
- Enter maintenance-related data into the system daily
- Verify information entered by mechanics and ensure accuracy
- Maintain parts inventory, including cycle counting and stock management
- Assist the shop manager in reviewing maintenance staff time cards and notifying them of any discrepancies
- Produce productivity and usage reports for management
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months of related work experience
- Experience in the waste or trucking industry is preferred
- Ability to learn Waste Pro proprietary software applications
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, data entry, and Fleet Management software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work activities
