Position Overview:
Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Flight Service Specialist to enhance our team.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and a collaborative spirit, taking on diverse responsibilities to deliver an exceptional service experience to passengers around the clock.

A background in culinary arts and a genuine enthusiasm for food are essential. Advanced culinary training is highly desirable.

This role involves providing outstanding personal services to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout their journey.

Responsibilities include welcoming passengers, demonstrating safety equipment, and serving meals and beverages.

Key Responsibilities:


Deliver a superior level of service to clients while prioritizing the safety and comfort of all passengers during flights.

Provide clear explanations of safety equipment usage and manage food and beverage service.

Assist and guide passengers during emergencies.

Ensure that all emergency equipment, including first aid kits and fire extinguishers, is operational.

Secure the cabin in compliance with federal regulations before take-off and landing.

Administer basic first aid to passengers as needed.

Additional Duties:
Reassure passengers during turbulence and assist with their belongings.

Support passengers during boarding and deplaning, especially those requiring special assistance, such as children, the elderly, or individuals with disabilities.

Conduct preflight briefings.


Verify that food, beverages, bedding, reading materials, and emergency supplies are adequately stocked for the flight.

Manage and fulfill passenger requests for food and beverages.

Shop for any specific items requested by passengers to be available on board.

Prepare and present meals for passengers and crew.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each leg of the journey.

Ensure the aircraft is consistently ready for flight: cleaned and stocked.

Complete necessary preflight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation.

Conduct regular checks throughout the cabin to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cleanliness.

Operate audio and video systems as required.

Qualifications:
Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations.

Certification in First Aid Training.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.

Preferred training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar programs. Annual recurrent training is mandatory.

Candidates lacking formal flight attendant training may be considered based on other qualifications but must complete initial flight attendant training prior to assignment.

Preference will be given to those who have completed relevant training within the last year.

Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

Strong attention to detail is essential.

Technological proficiency is required.

Flexibility and patience are critical attributes.

A college degree is preferred.

Fluency in one or more foreign languages is an advantage.

Culinary skills and specific culinary training are required.

Able to adapt to a dynamic schedule and late-night flights.

Experience with young children is preferred.

Must be available for short-notice flights (2-3 hour response time if on standby).

Unrestricted global travel capability (considering health and visa status).

Able to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days.

Proficient in operating all features of Cabin Management Systems.

Skilled in using all galley equipment.

Capable of managing all cabin features, including converting seating into sleeping arrangements.

Physical Requirements:

Vision:

Must have vision correctable to 20/20 or better with glasses or contact lenses (uncorrected no worse than 20/20).

Ability to read reports, charts, manage post-flight paperwork, and utilize computers, smartphones, and/or tablets is necessary.

Hearing/Speaking:
Must communicate clearly and effectively.

Ability to hear well enough to converse over the phone and in person with clients and colleagues while in flight is essential.


Physical Capability:
Must be physically fit to walk and stand without assistance.

Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 14 hours) with limited sitting and work in various climates is required.


Mobility:

Must be able to kneel in luggage compartments, load supplies, and maneuver in confined spaces within the aircraft.


Strength:

Must be able to operate the main cabin door, which may weigh up to 130 pounds, and perform tasks such as writing, typing, and preparing food and beverages. Must also be able to lift supplies weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds repeatedly.



Compensation:
Solairus offers competitive salary ranges based on market conditions and various factors including geographic area, experience, aircraft type, job responsibilities, and training.

Compensation for Solairus crew members ranges from $50,000 to $500,000.
